Intellifuel Systems is comprised of a group of professionals who have a passion for delivering operational process automation to participants in downstream petroleum and biofuels. With deep roots in the petroleum industry, our backgrounds are relevant to the creation, delivery and implementation of tools that help our customers operate more profitably.
All of us are intently focused on two things: making our customers´ problems go away while providing service they thought no longer existed. We pride ourselves on thinking about things that our customers do not, further helping them to succeed. At Intellifuel, "Simply a Better Way" is far more than a tagline. It is the standard against which we measure all of our solutions. We insist that users can quickly master our tools, that their use nets excellent results for our customers, and that the ROI is both apparent and demonstrable.
Our Philosophy
Everything we do is designed to help users master our tools as rapidly as possible, so that you realize a positive and prompt ROI.
We believe that you should capture data correctly, once, and at the source. Eliminate phone calls, faxes, e-mails and any other inefficient communications whenever possible. Eliminate as much manual keying and re-keying of data as possible. Deploy data capture techniques that are durable (i.e. never pull data out of the field if you can push it).
When seeking to automate an operational process, gather data first, which provides you the time to execute the next steps. Then, change your internal processes, one at a time. Use the time saved in data gathering to refine processes without chaos. Finally, involve your business partners. They will value process changes that help them while helping you.
Margins pay for administration, and they are not increasing. Administrative costs do not reduce without process improvement. Give users access to data rather than pass it from user to user. This improves the speed and accuracy with which data is accessible to decision makers.
Market champions use technology to create brand value. You can achieve technical intimacy with your customers to separate yourself from your competition and create a unique value proposition to your customers.

One size does not fit all. Seek out vendors who understand your cultural, market and technology nuances, and are willing to adapt their offerings to your wishes and changing requirements as your business evolves. These vendors care enough about your success and longevity to be there for you in both the good and bad times. They will become a trusted advisor and a friend.
If you own transports, optimize your inventory, not your fleet. Don´t let a $300 tail wag a $30,000 dog. Your dispatchers can and should operate in a fire prevention mode, not a fire fighting mode. Give them the tools to do this, and they will reward you by becoming a profit center.
It´s your data. Aggressively seek out vendors who understand this reality, and agree to deliver any data they capture on your behalf however you see fit.
The Internet should be leveraged to provide a shared conversation. Your trading partners should see a different, but appropriate view of the decision data. Everyone should understand what everyone else is doing without picking up the phone or sending faxes and e-mails.
